Perfectly Safe is a comic by Devin Goodman that uses predrawn sprites. Nothing you see in PFS should be taken too seriously.
Shouldn't that be 'frequently asked questions?'
I don't expect to get many questions.
What's with all the copied and pasted artwork, you lazy bitch?
I bet I wouldn't hear one word about this if I'd ripped the sprites from an NES game instead of drawing them myself. Long story short, PFS is intended to be a quick diversion from my fancier comics. To that end, I use a set of predrawn sprites. This saves time, lets me focus on the writing (and my writing needs all the help it can get) and keeps the art visually consistent.
How does 'Perfectly Safe' avvreviate to 'PFS?' What does the F stand for?
Smartass answer: What does the F always stand for?
Boring answer: Perfectly Safe was the name of the fleet I started in Star Pirates, back before I realized that Star Pirates is a pointless waste of time. The fleet needed a three letter callsign, so I went with PFS. After I stopped playing, I decided that I liked the name better than 'Heresy on Demand,' so I changed the name of the comic, and kept the abbreviation.
When does PFS update?
Whenever I feel like making a new strip, so not often. The easiest way to find out about new strips is to follow @pfscomic on Twitter. (You could also follow me on twitter, but why the hell would you want to?)
Do you do any other comics?
Yes. You can find the list at Volatile Contents.
