I just finished watching Soul Eater, and my one word review is "epic." A little too much "foiled by the power of love," as the Nostalgia Critic would put it, for my tastes, but it's fun as hell to watch, and although it probably could've been cut down to 26 episodes, it didn't really drag like a lot of shonen fighting shows tend to. But dear lord I hated the manga. It reads like a bad hentai doujin, the action is hard to follow, and it probably gets better after chapter four but I just couldn't be bothered to read any further. >_>

Seriously, I'll watch damn near anything if you put a skinny girl wearing a skirt, boots and a long coat in it.
